This Saturday, join us for Spectrum, a celebration of queers and femmes. DJ Chela (co-founder of Freedom Sound DJs) and Durham's resident weirdo PlayPlay will be rinsing tunes from LGBTQ-IA & femme artists all night long. In the current fucked-up political climate, safe(r) spaces to release, transform and escape are crucial for the people being targeted. We center and uplift their voices as we search for the ways to defend them. 10pm-2am. This event is a fundraiser for the Durham LGBTQ Center & Planned Parenthood. $5-$15 suggested donation
The Garden of Delights continues their burlesque residency on Sunday. Tarot card readings with Rachel Moon
Arcana provides a cozy, comfortable, intimate bar space, with a New Orleans-meets-Prague Art Noveau style. We not only offer delicious wines, craft beers, and modern cocktails, but we're also true to our name, highlighting the arcana of herbalism through a drink menu that uses herbs and an extensive collection of liqueurs. Arcana is a space for artists, live performances, theater, dance, intimate conversation, and unwinding.
Arcana is for patrons 21 and up. We do not serve food, but you are welcome to bring food in. Outside beverages are prohibited.
Lindsey Andrews and Erin Karcher are the creative force and daily faces behind Arcana, Durham's new basement bar and lounge. For inquiries about booking private events or showcasing your art in our bar space, please contact us at email@example.com
